As previously announced, the iPRES Steering Group (STG) is inviting bids from prospective conference hosts to organize iPRES for the years 2027–2029, with additional options for 2030 and 2031.

The Steering Group is hosting two Q&A sessions for organizations interested in hosting an iPRES conference during 2027–2031. The Co-Chairs of the Future Hosts Working Group, a subgroup of the iPRES STG, will be available at these online sessions to answer questions and provide insights into the hosting process.

The iPRES 2025 organising committee is excited to announce a series of ‘Call to Community’ online workshops, and to invite expressions of interest to join their committees. iPRES 2025 will take place in Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) Aotearoa (New Zealand) from 3-7 November 2025.

The Digital Preservation Coalition is looking for volunteers who are willing and able to share their digital preservation workflows in a 20-minute online demonstration or presentation as part of our 'Workflow Webinars' series, which is planned to take place in early February 2025.

iPRES 2025 will take place in Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington), Aotearoa (New Zealand), from 3-7 November 2025, and will offer a combination of in-person and virtual participation opportunities. We warmly invite contributions from researchers, practitioners, and organisations across the globe who are involved in the field of digital preservation.

The Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) is delighted to share the Spanish translation of our 2024-2025 program of activities on World Digital Preservation Day!

The prospectus lists the DPC’s plans for 2024-2025, including the range of new publications, training, webinars and specialist briefings, and supporting resources which will be released.  It is shaped by members’ needs but is shared with the entire digital preservation community around the world, in multiple languages and in multiple time zones.
