Our ‘RAM Jam’ workshops aim to bring DPC Members together to share experiences of using our Rapid Assessment Model (DPC RAM). Whereas previous events in this series have focused on working through the maturity model, or sharing tips on how organizations have moved forward with each section of the model, this workshop will focus on how our Members have used DPC RAM for maximum impact within their organizations.
We regularly talk to our Members about DPC RAM, and often hear stories about how RAM has been used to best effect. We were keen to find an opportunity to share some of these stories. This event provides a platform for Members to discuss their experiences of using RAM to inform and enhance different aspects of their digital preservation work.
If you are in a jam with digital preservation or wondering how to make the most of DPC RAM, this informal and chatty Members-only workshop is for you! We hope you will come away with some useful tips and ideas on how to use RAM to make progress within your own organization.
To enable Members to talk openly about what has and hasn’t worked and to share information about their RAM assessments if they wish to do so, this workshop will be conducted under Chatham House Rules.
All attendees will be encouraged to contribute their own experiences during the discussion sessions. It is assumed that attendees have some knowledge of DPC RAM and may have already carried out their own self-assessment.
