About the ARA 2023 Conference

The Archives and Records Association (ARA) UK & Ireland Annual Conference brings together members, colleagues, and influential players of the recordkeeping sector to discuss the latest developments and network with fellow members of the community.

This year’s ARA 2023 Conference (#ARA2023) will return to Belfast for the first time since 2007, taking place at the Europa Hotel in Belfast, UK, from 30th August to 1st September.

The 2023 theme is ‘Communities’: "Over three days we will talk about communities of users, stakeholders, colleagues, and collaborators. Revisiting and rebuilding relationships and connections, addressing issues prevalent within and between us, whilst, all the time, enriching our professional community with learning and inspiration. Our 2022 conference brought this professional community together in person for the first time since the pandemic, and, building on that experience, we want to use our 2023 gathering to serve and strengthen the record-keeping community."

To find out more, you can view the ARA 2023 programme here and visit the Conference website athttps://conference.archives.org.uk/.
