About the 2023 ASA Conference

This year’s 2023 Australian Society of Archivists (ASA) national conference, Rising to our challenges: archives at the 'G (#RisingToOurChallenges2023). will be held at Melbourne Cricket Ground, on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Boon Wurrung/Bunurong peoples of the Kulin Nation. The theme of the conference draws inspiration from the ‘G as an iconic Melbourne sporting venue and landmark on unceded Wurundjeri Country: “Archives, like the 'G, can also reach across the community and evoke passion, emotion and devotion. Let's come together, raise our voices, cheer each other on, and find inspiration to overcome our challenges.” A draft of the programme is available here

The conference will be held from 4 – 7 September 2023 and will be a hybrid event offering in-person and virtual attendance options. For more information, please visit the ASA 2023 conference website
