The ATRIUM project invites researchers to apply to participate in Transnational Access training visits to support their research. ATRIUM’s Transnational Access (TNA) scheme offers Arts and Humanities researchers the possibility to apply for a fully funded placement at several different partner organisations to access expert knowledge and advice from leading Data Management organisations across Europe. The available placements include learning about digital preservation, the transcription of historical manuscripts, language technologies and more! A full list is available on the ATRIUM website.

Two types of TNA applications are available:

  • Individual Access: Tailored to individual researchers based on their specific research topics matching the expertise of the host organization.

  • Summer School Access: Fixed events throughout the year catering to groups of researchers focusing on predetermined specialized topics.

Important Dates:

  • Applications closes for first round: May 31, 2024

  • Notification of successful applicants: June 28, 2024

Calls for applications will be issued periodically from March 2024 to December 2028 throughout the duration of the ATRIUM project. Individual Access applications will be accepted on a rolling basis with deadlines every three months. Summer Schools will be offered 1 to 2 times a year with fixed deadlines 3 to 4 months ahead of the scheduled event. It is important to note that applicants can only apply to visit an organisation that is outside of the country that they currently live or work in.
