The British Library has a rare opportunity for an Application Specialist in our Ingest and Preservation team, based in Boston Spa (Wetherby), or St Pancras (London), (hybrid working pattern).

About you;

Experience of supporting, configuring and monitoring of third party/packaged or bespoke applications

Experience of operational acceptance testing and deploying changes to production systems using appropriate controls

Excellent communicator and demonstrable ability to work as part of a team to agreed customer service levels and SLAs

Proven problem solving skills using a logical and considered approach

Proven systems analysis and documentation skills

Experience of data migration and file management

Experience of supporting applications in a windows environment

Knowledge and experience of SQL database querying
