It comprises eight research institutes as well as centres in Digital Humanities and Public Engagement. It has four recognised specialist research libraries. 

 

This is a new opportunity for an archivist to work with the 4 libraries of the School located in the Institutes of Advanced Legal Studies, Classical Studies, Historical Research and Warburg including on specific archive projects, giving advice, offering practical help, scoping new projects and taking responsibility for the development and promotion of access to archival and manuscript collections in all formats.  It is expected that the post holder will develop digital archives capability, knowledge and skills. The post holder will work with partners around the University including those in Senate House Library and wider profession to take advantage of the opportunities offered by new technologies to increase access to the collections and contribute to archive strategy, policy and procedure.
