As part of a dynamic team of global Archivists and Heritage Curators, The Bacardi Assistant Archivist will be responsible for all elements of the day-to-day management of The Bacardi Archives collection, including appraisal, organization, cataloguing, digitization, storage and preservation. The Bacardi Assistant Archivist will be immersed in our company story and will play a vital role in shaping the collection’s development and sharing the 160-year story of the Bacardi company and the BACARDÍ rum brand.

The Bacardi Archives, located inside the Bacardi office in Coral Gables, encompass more than 160 years of history of the world’s most awarded rum brand across with more than 20,000 items including both paper and digital business records, advertisements, photographs, more than 4,000 rum bottles, fine art paintings, promotional items, the world’s largest and oldest private cocktail book collection, and more.

ABOUT YOU
This role is for someone with impeccable organization and communication skills and a passion for storytelling. You are a self-starter, comfortable working autonomously and carefully amongst a collection of historical records that span seven generations of a family-owned business. You have a knack for developing catalogues and systems to ensure the accessibility of vital company records today and for years to come. You connect the dots between the business and the stories of the past to reinforce the authenticity of our iconic brands.
