The British Library is recruiting to the post of Assistant Data Services Assistant within the Data Services team. The main duties will be around the day-to-day running of the British Library-led UK DataCite consortium, but you’ll also be expected to contribute to a number of other internal- and external-facing projects including this year’s review and update of our Research Data Strategy. This will be an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in research data management or related areas, from a library, archives or research background for example.
The Research Infrastructure Services team is responsible for developing and delivering our non-content services to researchers, including discovery services, scholarly communications, the British Library Research Repository and research data support. The team sits within the Content & Research Services department.
This is now a full-time post (36 hours/week), fixed-term for 2 years in the first instance, with a starting salary of £23,250 (or £26,000 if based in London), and the successful applicant can choose which of our two sites to be based at: St Pancras, London or Boston Spa, Yorkshire. The closing date is 11 April.
