Bring your experience to deliver innovative collection access and resource sharing services. You will lead a team of professionals to deliver high-quality services to ensure the Library’s rich collections are shared, accessible.
Responsible for delivering the Library’s Resource Sharing Strategy, this role also manages a range of strategic and operational activities including the Library’s global partnerships that enable access to global collections, system and interoperability testing, inter-library lending, document delivery, and ‘Scan and Send’ service.
You will explore and implement strategic and innovative solutions to maximise access to global content and collections through resource sharing, facilitated and collaborative collections, and partnerships while engaging with content providers, platforms, consortia, and global initiatives to implement streamlined and sustainable workflows for collection access that support the University’s research and education needs.
Bringing skills in motivating and developing a high developing team, you will provide leadership to the Collection Access and Resources Sharing Team to enable the delivery of high-level and professional services and effective achievement of the Library’s priorities and provide expert advice at both strategic and operational levels.
As the Collection Access and Resource Sharing Innovator you will support the Library Technologies, Discovery and Access Manager in the delivery of the Library’s operations and practice and manage collection access and resource sharing functions.
This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
