We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our team. This permanent, part-time role will support the day-to-day running of the University archive and records management services with a particular focus on activities around digital records.
Main duties and responsibilities:

Arranging, appraising and cataloguing archival holdings using the University’s archival management system AtoM.
-
Ingesting digital records into Archivematica, the University’s digital records preservation system.
-
Answering enquiries, and assisting and supervising researchers.
-
Supporting records management activities, including processing of box recall and return requests relating to the University’s off-site institutional records.
We encourage applications from individuals with transferable skills interested in working in the information management sector and those working towards a qualification in archives and records management. Practical experience of the appraisal and ingest of digital records is desirable. You should have meticulous organisational ability, accuracy and attention to detail.
