The Digital Archives Innovation and Research (DAIR) section supports the National Archives in becoming a leading digital archive by maintaining awareness of emerging developments in digital archiving practice, engaging with the local and international digital archiving community, researching policies and techniques to support long-term preservation and access to digital materials, undertaking collection and service delivery data analysis projects, and building digital archiving capability within the organisation.
The Digital Archives Project Officer will support DAIR’s program of work, including capability development and research initiatives, and will coordinate administrative and communications duties for the section. The successful applicant is expected to have an interest in digital archiving and strong written communication, interpersonal and administration skills.
