This is an exciting opportunity to join HSBC's team of archivists spanning London, Hong Kong, Paris and New York. The Global Archives team collects, manages and communicates HSBC’s heritage and archives in support of the bank’s purpose, values and strategy. We preserve the corporate memory of the organisation, and drive engagement with employees, clients, shareholders, dignitaries, regulators and other stakeholders. We provide a wide-range of internal and public-facing services to users across the globe and our archives form one of the most international corporate collections in the world.
The role will be based in London and will report into the Senior Digital Archives Manager. The digital archivist will provide professional expertise to support the implementation of HSBC’s innovative digital archives programme and history website.
This role is not a traditional archives role and we would also welcome applicants with experience in digital preservation, digital asset management or information management.
