PREMIS is seeking to fill up to 3 vacancies in the Editorial Committee (EC) during the winter 2024. The EC solicits new members through open calls and will evaluate all applications. There might be an online call performed after all applications are reviewed.
The EC holds a virtual meeting once every month, currently at 3pm CET/CEST, and also has smaller teams working with specific tasks like outreach, updates to the rights statements, and a lot more. The teams also hold regular virtual meetings. You are expected to be able to devote time to actively participate in the work of the EC. The PREMIS EC tries to meet face-to-face once a year, most often at the iPres conference, and would appreciate it if you as a member of the EC could be there.
The PREMIS EC would like to see applications from people from different parts of the preservation community in all parts of the world, and if you have experience within the research metadata field that is an extra bonus.

Please send your application to EC chair Karin Bredenberg (premis.ec.mail@gmail.com) before the end of March 2024 (2024-03-31). The EC hopes to fill its vacancies in April/May 2024.
