The DPC is delighted to welcome the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Libraries and Archives Service (LSHTM) as its latest associate member. The vision of LSHTM is to be a world-leading school of public and global health to address contemporary and future critical health challenges with the aim of fostering collaborations based on mutual respect and openness to share expertise throughout the UK and worldwide.

Victoria Cranna, Archivist and Records Manger said, “The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine makes a key contribution to public health research, particularly in the fight against Malaria and Ebola. We believe that it is essential for this research to remain accessible and understandable in the long-term, so that it can continue to have value to future researchers.”

William Kilbride, Executive Director of the DPC added, “We are delighted to welcome LSHTM and believe that by joining the Coalition, they will continue in their goal to gain a better understanding of how to manage their digitised and born-digital materials through collaboration with other members and beyond, thus making their collection accessible for all stakeholders.”
