#DPConnect will take a 4-week break throughout the month of August after the #DPClinic on Friday 28^th July.

Following the break, we will return on Friday 1^st September at 1400 UTC+1 and #DPConnect will continue thereafter, as a weekly online gathering to drop in and discuss all things digital preservation.

With a long-standing alliance between the Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) and the International Council on Archives (ICA) already in place, the two organizations observe the signing of a Friendship Agreement today, at a joint webinar to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the ICA.

Acknowledging that exemplary digital stewardship can take many forms, eligibility for the NDSA Excellence awards has been left purposely broad and nominations will be accepted from individuals, educators, future stewards, organizations, projects, and sustainability activities categories. Anyone, any institution, or any project acting in the context of the categories listed below can be nominated for an award. No NDSA membership or affiliation is required.
