Sustaining Digital Heritage Training Programme: Call for Learning Partners

ICCROM, AVP and the Netherlands Institute for Sound & Vision are excited to invite cultural heritage organisations to join the learning community of the Sustaining Digital Heritage programme.
The programme will help cultural heritage professionals and their organisations develop capacity for managing digital heritage through online training, projects with mentoring and the development of case studies.

DROID 6.6.1 Release

The National Archives is pleased to announce the release of DROID 6.6.1 which can be downloaded here.
DROID 6.6.1 is a minor update to DROID 6.6.0, that fixes a bug in the no-profile mode output and hash column. DROID 6.6.1 also updates the internal logging library to the latest version available at the time of release.

This in person workshop explores how web archives collections can be described using the Datasheets for Datasets framework.
Significant work in web archives scholarship focuses on the description and provenance of collections and their data. Looking beyond the worlds of libraries, archives and cultural heritage can provide valuable alternative approaches, which we can experiment with and use. Datasheets for Datasets is a method for describing large datasets from the field of machine learning, which uses a standard set of questions arranged by stages of the data lifecycle.
