Archivo Nacional de Chile joins the Digital Preservation Coalition

El Archivo Nacional de Chile, the National Archives of Chile, has joined the Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) this month, becoming its newest Associate Member.

Responsible for the permanent preservation of records generated by over 1900 public institutions in Chile, the Archives must provide long-term digital preservation services.

The University of Melbourne and the Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding today which will see the continuation of the DPC’s Melbourne Office and the provision of operational support for the digital preservation community across Australasia and Asia Pacific for the foreseeable future.
